Wonderful location...few minutes walk from Kyoto station, behind the Avanti mall. Lawson conveniently next door. The staff were wonderful and breakfast was sumptuous and served by a pleasant team of women who kept replenishing the vast and varied buffet. Loved the iced macha latte and other options from the dispensers. The breakfast menu is displayed beautifully in the elevators too! The sheet masks and other toiletries were made available at the foyer and were of very good quality. You could borrow phone chargers, hair irons etc. Rooms were airy and full of light with black-out curtains. Spectacularly clean and welcoming!

Very close to train station, just one street away, combini just downstairs. Very friendly staff and great communication. We arrived early and staff helped to store our luggage immediately. I had booked another Sotetsu hotel down the street but had to cancel last min as I booked the wrong dates. I called the front desk and he was so helpful. He could also understand me perfectly is the reason why i booked this hotel as the original hotel was full. Room was a good size at 15m2, there is enough space for my husband and I, and we could fully open 2 mid-sized luggage.

Situated fairly close to Kyoto Station, which can be reached by walking the street or through the underground passage connecting the station to the nearby shopping mall. Reasonable price, great range of food for breakfast. There are 2 coin-operated wash&dry laundry machines on the ground floor, which was very handy. The room & bathroom were clean, if a little dated. The shower had great water pressure, and it was great for massaging tired muscles after a long day exploring.
